At just 24 years old, Alea Mae Therese Bermejo, a creative soul through and through, discovered resin crafting during the pandemic and was instantly drawn to its limitless possibilities—from preserving sentimental items to playing with color, texture, and form.
“The tactile experience of working with resin and seeing a piece come to life is deeply satisfying,” Alea shares. “It keeps me inspired.”
Handmade resin keychains and colorful hair clips, originally made as gifts for friends and family, soon caught people’s attention. The overwhelmingly positive feedback encouraged Alea to dream bigger, expanding her product line and vision for the brand. Through each handcrafted piece, She pours her heart and creativity into Aristocraft, making it a true reflection of herself.

Social media played a significant role in the brand’s early growth. Facebook and Instagram allowed Aristocraft to showcase its creations and build strong customer relationships. “It helped us receive real-time feedback and foster a community,” Alea adds.
Among Aristocraft’s best-sellers are the resin letter keychains and refrigerator magnets—fan favorites because of their vibrant colors and customizable designs. “Our resin ref magnets are often purchased as souvenirs for special celebrations,” Alea says with pride.

More than profit and popularity, Alea finds fulfillment in the happiness her creations bring. “Seeing the joy and satisfaction on our customers’ faces when they receive our crafts is incredibly fulfilling,” she shares. “It allows me to enjoy my passion and keep discovering what more I can do.”
Still, building a business at such a young age hasn’t been easy. Alea faced challenges balancing her studies with crafting, navigating a limited budget, and enduring trial and error. “There were times when pieces didn’t turn out as expected, and that was frustrating,” she admits.
Yet, each failure became a stepping stone. Through persistence and problem-solving, she learned to adapt. She shared that she focused on continuous growth by researching new ideas, refining her craft, and allowing her passion to guide her progress.
Looking ahead, Alea envisions Aristocraft evolving further. “We want to expand our product line, explore more PH-based online platforms, and eventually conduct our own workshops,” she shares. Embracing sustainable, eco-friendly practices is also part of her long-term plan.
From Resin to New Ventures
As Aristocraft continues to thrive, Alea has also begun cultivating new creative ventures alongside her business and life partner, Jolo Loresca. One of the standout additions is the wooden alkansya, a playful yet meaningful savings bank that has already sold over 2,000 pieces. Its success highlights the brand’s ability to diversify while staying true to its handmade, heartfelt roots.
Recently, they introduced Jally Zone, a selfie mirror rental service designed for parties and events. This exciting new addition reflects her entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to bringing creativity into every aspect of her work.
