Bando is the brainchild of eight passionate partners—Kobe Paras, Anton Yalung, Gian Hernandez, Nikko Alcalde, LJ Canavan, Benj Sadic, Robert LaGuardia, and Lawrence Rufino—who come from diverse backgrounds but share a common goal: to curate unforgettable nightlife experiences. Each member of our team, dedicated to crafting moments that bring people together, whether they’re lifelong friends or new acquaintances.
“Music is the heart and soul of Bando. Our top priority is music curation. Since our soft opening in February, we have been fortunate to collaborate with some of the top local DJs, including Duaneinsane, Steelo, Platon, Tomas Felix, Butta B, and more. We also plan to feature international DJs during their tours, providing Manila’s hip-hop fans with a taste of diverse musical cultures,” says Robert LaGuardia, who leads Concept Development & Business Operations.
Where the real vibe is
After over a year of meticulous planning and hard work, we are excited to unveil our concept to Manila. Open three nights a week, Bando will showcase a talented roster of Filipino hip-hop DJs while also welcoming international acts to create a one-of-a-kind experience with rap, R&B, and everything in between as the soundtrack to your nights.
“As friends who frequently went out together, creating a venue that exclusively celebrates our favorite genre—hip-hop—has always been a dream. Lawrence (Operations Lead) presented us with the opportunity to open Bando in Makati Cinema Square, and it took us about a year to bring this vision to life,” shares Kobe Paras, who oversees PR and Marketing.
Drawing inspiration from legendary hip-hop clubs worldwide, Bando boasts a stunning two-floor space designed with a modern Renaissance flair.
Bando operates Thursday through Saturday from 10 PM onwards, aiming to be the ultimate destination for everyone, whether you’re a rap enthusiast or simply in search of a fun night out fueled by hip-hop, R&B and more.
