Going South? Here are the Must-Visit Hotels and Resorts in Batangas

With the generosity of the Department of Tourism – CALABARZON, TAP Magazine was invited along with local influencers to partake in their tourism program, and appreciate Philippines natural wonders.

From Metro’s busy streets, we got a ticket to travel around three towns of Batangas’ 1st Congressional District — Lian, Nasugbu, and Calatagan. Inside these towns await the hotels, resorts and beaches, also known as the towns’ gems.

So, hop on, and discover these places that you will surely love to visit someday.

Life in Lian, Batangas

We arrived in Lian, Batangas just a few hours away from Manila. To start this delightful journey, we visited some of their beautiful beaches and resorts. 

First stop: Malaruhatan Country Club. If you’re looking for a place to chill, relax or reset, MCC is the one for you. They serve their guests generously, from their welcoming entry to  lodging. And while Batangas is known for serving the best Lomi, we are confident to let you try their classic cuisine. Case in point: Their tapsilog tastes the best.

Second stop: Villa La Maria Inn. This resort is just a few neighborhoods away from MCC. And if you’re looking for a cost-friendly place to relax while also having fun, Villa La Maria Inn is for you. From tiring fun-filled water activities to resting inside cozy rooms and huts, they serve their guests with great coastal experience. This place is perfect for everyone — singles, couples, families and barkada.

Before leaving Lian, make sure to stop by and stay a little while to check on our third spot: Hip Nautic Beach Resort. This resort is perfect for families craving for intimate gatherings, friends longing for chillouts, and work teams desiring rest and relaxation. Hip Nautic offers the coziest place in town.

Nasugbu Naturals

Nasugbu is one of the best places known when talking about beaches. Just a few kilometers from Lian, Nasugbu offers the best picture-perfect spots in Batangas. From dusk ‘til dawn, it is a place that perfectly sets the natural view of the islands.

First in line: G7 Golden View Resort offers the most breathtaking seascape that makes everyone reach the seventh heaven.
